Character and charm for this stone cottage situated in a vineyard in operation at the edge of a small village, between the Corbières and Minervois. It is nestled in the heart of a panorama of landscapes, that this house is step between relaxation and discovery. This base is close to all tourist interests in the region: the Canal du Midi and Carcassonne (all 2 World Heritage Sites of UNESCO), the Cathar castles and abbeys, the village of Minerve on its rocky peak, the lake of Jouarre with sailing base ... and the white sandy beaches of Gruissan at 48 km. The vineyard has 3 cottages this cottage, an other one for 5 people and the last one only for 2 people. These 3 cottages share the large pool. The 120 m² divided on 2 levels is comfortably equipped for 5 people. At ground floor: large living room of 45 m² with lounge and dining room, kitchen and separate toilet. On 1st floor: 1 large double bedroom and 1 other bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed or 3 single beds. Each of the 2 rooms has its private shower room with separate toilet. The cottage has a private terrace facing the pool. Swimming pool offers 3 separate spaces : 1 American beach 0.40 m deep for small children, a wading pool for children and more daring the deep end. Parking off road on the ground. Views over the pool and the hills of the Minervois. Sorry no pet allowed.

Het is een super huis, met een gastvrij ontvangst. De ligging is geweldig je kijkt uit over de wijngaarden, waar je mooi kunt wandelen, hardlopen en fietsen vanaf het huis, en wijnproeverijen op loopafstand. In de omgeving is veel te doen, mooie plaatsen, oude geschiedenis, van o.a. de Kataren. Aanrader is niet alleen Carcasson (als je vroeg gaat en kaarten via internet besteld valt de drukte mee) maar ook Abdij Fontfroide waar je met een tablet in het Nederlands de geschiedenis beleeft. Op 3 km (Escalles) is een kleine supermarkt met vers brood en verse vis op vrijdag. Het huis zelf is erg mooi, met smaak en aandacht ingericht mooie oude meubels. En het is erg schoon, en koel door de dikke stenen muren en de luiken voor de ramen. Buiten is een terras (met privacy, je ziet de buren niet) waar je uitkijkt over het zwembad en de wijngaarden. Het zwembad wordt elke ochtend schoongemaakt. En erg leuk halverwege kwam de eigenaar met heerlijke tomaten uit eigen tuin en een fles wijn van het huis!

Mede door het mooie weer een super vakantie gehad! Het huis is sfeervol in echte franse stijl. Het uitzicht vanuit de keuken en vanaf het terras is geweldig! Je kijkt op het zwembad en de wijngaarden en bergen. Mooie uitvalbasis om het zeer afwisselende gebied te verkennen. cultuur, bergen en zee.

Nous avons apprécié la grande piscine tous les jours surtout ma jeune fille avec le petit bain, un accueil très agréable des propriétaires; je le recommenderai à un ami.

Merci à cette gentille propriétaire pour cette jolie semaine passée près de Narbonne. La location est superbe, le coin est magnifique (pas assez d'une semaine) et le village tranquille. On a particulièrement apprécié la location du linge (torchons, draps, serviettes...) quel gain de place dans les valises, et les petits cadeaux de bienvenue font chaud au coeur. Bref une attention à l'égard des locataires que l'on a jamais vu ailleurs. En ce qui concerne la location : très propre, les salles de bain sont hyper pratique, la cuisine bien aménagée et complète, mais le grand plus pour nous famille avec des petits enfants, c'est la piscine avec différentes profondeurs. Ce n'était que du bonheur cette semaine! je recommande vivement cette annonce !

Le gîte est très confortable mais il manque des commerces de proximité.
