Near of Castelnaudary capital of cassoulet, between Carcassonne and Toulouse, this large house is located in the village of Sainte Camelle. The area is full of interest, both cultural as natural.
Lovers of culture and history will leave to the discovery of the famous Canal du Midi only 12 km (classified UNESCO World Heritage); the city of Carcassonne (also classified as World Heritage by UNESCO) at 56 km; Cathar castles, medieval villages of Fanjeaux at 23km and Mirepoix at 25 km and, of course, the pink city of Toulouse at 50 km.
As for the natural attractions : the chasm of Cabrespine and cave of Limousis (each has an international reputation) are within 70 km. the lake of Ganguise, for nautical activities and picnic areas, within 10 km. 3 golf courses within 50 km (2 around Toulouse and 1 in Carcassonne); the city of the birds and the Australian village in Carcassonne at 56 km. You'll be spoiled for choice, without forgetting to taste the famous cassoulet of Castelnaudary and the inevitable blanquette de Limoux.
A trip to the sea is quite possible in the day, since it takes 115 kms to reach Mediterranean sea in Gruissan.
The house of 300 m² is actually made up of one big house of 220 m² and 1 small house of 80 m², separated from each other by a patio.
